Susan M. Huber, of Pewaukee, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her home at the age of 61. She was born in Milwaukee on November 19, 1953 the daughter of John “Hans” and Kathleen (nee Delaney) Huber. Susan was a 1971 graduate of Kettle Moraine High School and then earned her bachelor’s degree from UW-Stout. She had a long career in merchandising and international buying for Eddie Bauer and Miles Kimball before retiring and starting a business with her sister, Diane called Daisyblu. Susan was very artistic and creative which contributed to her successful career and her new business with her sister. She enjoyed traveling but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Kathy (Donald) Schaf of Sussex, Christine (Kevin) Schneider of Burlington, Judy Huber (Mary Kay Kennedy) of Eagan, MN, Joan (Keith) Judy of Los Angeles, CA and Diane (Steve) Sonnheim of Mukwonago and her brother John (Heidi) Huber of Delafield. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Paul Mente, 16 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jean Mente and nephew Michael Mente.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 5:00PM until the time of the 7:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Private family graveside services will be held on Saturday morning at Summit Cemetery in the Village of Summit.
