Susan "Sue" K. Nettesheim

Susan Kay Nettesheim (nee Scarce), age 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Waukesha, WI on Tuesday May 14^th 2024.

Susan was born on November 24^th 1944 to James and Gladys (Poppie) Scarce, the third of 4 children. She was married to Richard “Dick” Nettesheim on July 8^th, 1967 and had two children; Kristi Angiolo of Waukesha, WI, and Rick (Coleen) Nettesheim of Baileys Harbor, WI. She was the loving grandmother to Jake (Sarah) Nettesheim, Katie (Thomas) Burkey, Alivia Nettesheim, Jack Angiolo, and Brett Angiolo. She was also the great grandmother to Robin (Jake and Sarah) Nettesheim. She was sister to Joan (Rodger) Holden, Janice (Neil) Swanson, and Mary (Bill) Ankomeus and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

After retiring from Cooper Power Systems, where she worked for over 30 years, Sue found her passion and spent many years and endless hours happily volunteering at Katy’s Kloset in Waukesha. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends, camping, bowling, playing cards and babysitting her grandkids.  Sue loved to host family events and holiday celebrations at her homes in Waukesha throughout the years, and in doing so, she and Dick created wonderful memories of good times and lots of laughs for all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys, mother and father-in-law Ralph and Mabel Nettesheim, sister Joan Holden, brother-in-law Rodger Holden, brother-in-law Delbert (Mary) Knutson, brother-in-law Bill ( Mary) Ankomeus, sister-in-law Janice (Donald) Nettesheim, brother-in-law Harold (Delores) Swanson, brother-in-law Neil Swanson, brother-in-law Robert (Val) Nettesheim, nephew Scott Swanson, niece Tracy Holden and niece Sue Ann Knutson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
