Suzanne "Sue" Hoffman

Suzanne “Sue” Hoffman a lifelong Waukesha resident passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the age of 78. She was born in Waukesha on November 21, 1939 the daughter of Dan and Anna (nee Abfall) DeStefano. She was a 1957 graduate of Waukesha High School. On April 23, 1960 she married her husband Maurice “Bill” Hoffman. She was a longtime member of the Waukesha Service Club. Sue enjoyed traveling, shopping and lunching with her friends and family. Her pride and joy were her family and she especially loved her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Bill of Waukesha, her daughter Wendy (Ted) Maus of Brookfield, her son Marc (Maureen) Hoffman of Waukesha and her four grandchildren, Bill and Matt Maus and Laura and Tory Hoffman. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Daniel DeStefano.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, N19 W24350 Riverwood Dr., Waukesha, WI 53188 or Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, 1155 Honey Creek Pkwy, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 are appreciated in Sue’s name.
