Longtime Waukesha resident, Terry L. Cook, age 70, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born in Waukesha, on January 14, 1937 to Charles and Mabelle Koloske Cook. In 1954 he graduated from Waukesha High School. Terry was a US Army veteran serving from 1958-1961 mainly in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion D.J. Martin Post #8 in Waukesha. He loved the auto business and for most of his working life he sold cars at various dealerships in the Waukesha area. Conversing, sharing stories and points of view both political and personal were a favorite endeavor for Mr. Cook. Feeding the local wildlife, especially the raccoons and opossums, were a delight to him. He was also quite a wiz at crossword puzzles. He is survived by his children: David Cook and Christopher (Jenny) Cook both of Waukesha; grandchildren, Jessica and Jonathan; his former wife and friend, Carole of Waukesha; his favorite Aunt Jean Davies of Waukesha; 5 cats and the dog, Marcie. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Stewart Lee Cook. Visitation for Terry will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M.
