Terry L. Shanklin

Terry L. Shanklin, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. He was born in Waukesha on January 19, 1954 the son of the late Donald and Marjorie (nee Davis) Shanklin. Terry enjoyed country music and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and being a jokester and will be sadly missed.

He was the beloved father of Shannon (Dave Hall) Shanklin of Waukesha, Lisa (Ryan) Ramos of Waukesha and Amanda Shanklin of Waukesha. He was the proud grandfather of Travis, Mercedes, Marissa and Madalyn Hall, and Alexis, Brayden “RayRay” and Liliana Ramos and brother of Jeff Shanklin, Donald Shanklin, Barbara (Thomas) Steckbauer and Larry Shanklin. He is further survived by his special nephew Little Jeff, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Karen Ann Moore, his beloved companion, who is the mother of his daughter Amanda, preceded him in death. Mother of Shannon and Lisa, Gail Fewtrell survives him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 12:30PM until the time of the 1:30PM memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are greatly appreciated to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
