The Honorable Robert T. McGraw, of the town of Genesee died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. He was born on March 10, 1920 in Wichita, Kansas to Anthony and Mary (nee: O’Conner) McGraw. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Judge McGraw received his Ph.B. from Marquette University in 1940 and his LL.B. in 1943. He started his career as the Assistant District Attorney of Waukesha County from 1950 until 1959. He was a Circuit Court Judge for Waukesha County from 1972 until 1990 and has been a Reserve Judge since 1990. His judicial activities include Chief Judge of Waukesha and President of the Waukesha County Bar Association. He was a member of the Waukesha Elks Lodge #400, D.J. Martin American Legion Post 8 and a longtime member of Merrill Hills Country Club. Judge McGraw’s interests include golfing, fishing, shopping and cruising. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Kathy (Greg) Strand of Waukesha. Proud grandfather of Shannon (David) Mooney of Sussex, Shauna Strand of Waukesha and Chelsey Strand of Waukesha and great-grandfather of Aidan Mooney of Sussex. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Amrah and brother Tony McGraw. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28 from 10:00 AM until the 12:30 PM Funeral Mass all at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Reverend Jason Lavann will preside. Interment services will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O.
