Thelma E. Meidenbauer

June 2, 1929 — November 26, 2023

Waukesha

Thelma E. Meidenbauer (Nee Pluess) was born to Eternal Life on November 26, 2023, at the age of 94.  Thelma was born June 2, 1929, in Eagle, the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Stobber) Pluess.   She married Kenneth Meidenbauer, the love of her life, January 17, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death October 9, 2012, after 65 years of marriage.

Thelma was a 1947 graduate of Waukesha High School and was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church.  She worked at Aeroshade, Amron, and retired from the office of Dr Albert Motzel.

She loved riding with Ken on their Harley.  After retirement they toured the United States and Canada.  She enjoyed delivering Meals-on-Wheels and visiting with all the shut-ins.  Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.  She was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers and was happy when football season began.

She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Lori (Louis) Boehmke and grandsons Brandon and Eric Boehmke.

She was preceded in death by, her husband Ken and brothers Merlin and Lyle Pluess.

Memorials to First Presbyterian Church of Waukesha 111 E. Main St. Waukesha, WI 53186 or New Berlin Historical Society would be appreciated.

A special thank you to Dr. Martin Kern now retired, for his compassionate care to Ken and Thelma for Many Years.

To honor Thelma’s wishes the service will be private.
