Theodore R. Bryant-Nanz, a resident of the Town of Ottawa, passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2025, at the age of 64, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 13, 1960, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to Robert William Nanz and Miriam Kay Stauff. On January 23, 1993, he married Noëlle Bryant at St. Edmund's Episcopal Church in Elm Grove, Wisconsin.

Theodore was an accomplished professional, having graduated from St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1986, where he was on Law Review. He operated his own law office until his retirement. He was also a devoted member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Dousman for many years.

Theodore is survived by his beloved wife, Noëlle Bryant-Nanz, and their two children, Anya Grace (Marques Seib) Bryant-Nanz of the Town of Ottawa, and Leah Theodora Bryant-Nanz of Minneapolis. His legacy continues through his granddaughter, Jada Lee Bryant-Nanz. He is also survived by his mother, Miriam Kay Stauff of Wauwatosa; his parents-in-law, Anthony and Andrea Bryant of Waukesha; and his brothers, Robert William (Catherine) Nanz, Jr. of Escondido, California, and Stephen Ralph (Heidi Steiner) Nanz of Brooklyn, New York. Additionally, he leaves behind a nephew, August (Sheila Lo) Nanz of Sunnyvale, California; nieces Rosa Nanz of Escondido, California, and Veery Nanz of Brooklyn, New York; grand-niece Emma Nanz, and many cousins, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Nanz, and his son, Noel Bryant-Nanz.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, beginning with visitation at 11:30 AM, followed by the service at 12:00 PM, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, located at 36014 Sunset Drive, Dousman, WI 53188. Private burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Theodore’s name are welcomed to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church for prairie restoration efforts, a cause that was close to his heart.
