Theresa H. Averill

Theresa H. Averill, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 73. She was born in Waukesha on February 6, 1942 the daughter of Emery and Irene (nee Sorenson) Averill. She graduated from the Minnesota School for the Deaf and of the Central Bible College School for the Deaf in Missouri in 1966. Theresa was a longtime member of the Waukesha Deaf Organization and enjoyed living at Saratoga Heights for the past 29 years.

She will be sadly missed by her sister FeLotto Rutherford of Waukesha, her nephews, Gary (Deanna) Averill and David (Tracy) Averill, her niece Michelle (Bob) McQueen along with great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Richard and Elliott Averill.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Waukesha Springs and Heartland Hospice for the care, kindness and compassion they gave Theresa.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10:00AM until the time of the 11:00AM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Graveside services will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Saratoga Heights, 120 Corrina Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53186.
