Thomas E. Cherek

Thomas E. Cherek died peacefully on May 13, 2024, at the age of 87. His warmhearted, welcoming and easygoing nature was treasured by his family and many friends. 

Tom is survived by his beloved wife Sally (nee: Smart) and his children Chris Cherek, Kyle (Nada) Cherek, Chris Biwer, Mike Biwer, Barb Dixon, and Megan (Marc) Barbeau. He is also survived by Paula (Tom) Congdon, Dan Biwer, Bob Biwer, Lisa (Joe) Pease, and Susan (Dave) Aleson. He was a proud grandpa to 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and his dear sister Mary (Bob) Thoresen. 

We are grateful for the love and practical wisdom Tom shared and all the memories he made with us. He will be remembered for his genuine spirit, his smile and his songs. 

A memorial gathering will be Sunday May 19, 2024, at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186 from 1:00 pm until the service at 3:00 pm.
