Thomas R. Jasinski of Waukesha, died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. A kind, gentle, and loving man, he was born on July 18, 1929 in West Allis to Leopold and Sophia (nee: Hopp) Jasinski. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. In his younger years Tom was a test driver for Harley Davidson and enjoyed racing motorcycles. On December 27, 1952 he married the former Kathryn Swan. He was an avid fisherman and hunter belonging to Club 20, a private hunting club formed in the 1950’s. He enjoyed bowling and proudly won several tournaments. He liked going to the casino’s and winning at blackjack and was an avid short track stock car fan. He loved watching his grandchildren participate in their extra curricular activities. He has been a longtime member of Evangelical and Reformed UCC in Waukesha. He will be sadly missed by his wife Kathryn of Waukesha, along with their children Richard (Pamela) Jasinski of Pewaukee, Jeffrey (Barbara) Jasinski of Pewaukee and Sandra (Brian) Staffeldt of Waukesha. Dear grandfather of Dustin Staffeldt, Derek Staffeldt and Thomas Jasinski. He is further survived by his sister Mary Sweeney of New Berlin, sister-in-law Donna Riedel of Eagle River, grandpets Blackie, Shelby and Timone, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert (Lillian) Jasinski. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 28 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 7:00PM all at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Rev.
