Thomas D. Kuemmel

Thomas D. Kuemmel, of Waukesha, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. He was born on November 2, 1955, in Milwaukee, the loving son of Kenneth and Elizabeth (nee Beaudoin) Kuemmel. He was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and received his Bachelor’s degree at Marquette University. Thomas amazed his family with his love and knowledge of history. He will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit and will be missed by many.

He was the beloved brother of Daniel (Rosanne) Kuemmel of Racine, Ted (Mary) Kuemmel of Waukesha, and Mary (Dennis) Petrie of Brookfield. Dear uncle of Daniel (Lori Taylor) Kuemmel, Michael (Sarah) Kuemmel, Kevin (Amy) Kuemmel, Amy (Dennis) Connolly, Anne (Matt) Winkler, Ken Kuemmel, Matthew Kuemmel, Angela Kuemmel, Rebecca (Dennis) Perry, Katie (Joe) Powell, Tim (Carolyn Madormo) Petrie, Steve (Clare) Petrie, Robert (Jacque) Petrie and Laura Petrie. He is further survived by his sister-in-law Shari Kuemmel of Madison, aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph Kuemmel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass all at St. Anthony on the Lake, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee, WI 53072. Fr. Tony Zimmer and deacon Dennis Petrie will preside. Memorial’s in Thomas’s name are appreciated to Catholic Memorial High School, 601 E.
