Of Pewaukee, died on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 62. He was born in Waukesha on September 26, 1946 the son of Anton and Erna (nee Turkoske) Spelich. Tom was a 1964 graduate of Waukesha South High School and worked for 35 years at Waukesha Cutting Tools until his retirement in 1999. Following retirement, he worked for Energy Saving Systems in Waukesha. He loved sports and always ran his family football pool. Tom enjoyed taking care of his yard, cooking and was a master on his Weber grill. He loved to play euchre and to travel with Maui being his favorite place. His family always came first for him. He will be dearly missed. He will always be remembered by his wife, Joan Spelich of Pewaukee whom he married on February 4, 1967, his children: Dawn (Randall) Ewing of Pewaukee and Chad (Carrie) Spelich of Oconomowoc, his grandchildren: LCpl Erich of Twenty-nine Palms, CA, and Kendall and Kennedy both of Pewaukee, his sister Marlene (Gerald) Crouse of Waukesha, along with other relatives and friends.
