Timothy L. McLain, of the Town of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 54. He was born in Shelbyville, Illinois on March 20, 1960 the son of Leon and Betty (nee Trueblood) McLain. Tim grew up in Decatur, Illinois where he attended and graduated from MacArthur High School in 1978. He worked for Venture Stores until they closed in 1994, and then as an assistant manager at Office Depot. On January 1, 1999 he married Ann (nee Hubman) in Waukesha. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of ABATE of Wisconsin - Waukesha Chapter. Most of all he loved his family.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Ann of Waukesha, his children Sarah McLain of Decatur, Illinois and Tyler McLain of Elwin, Illinois, his step-children Charlie Congdon of Waukesha, Taylor Congdon of Madison, and Adam Congdon of Huntington Beach, California, and his grandson Braden Lee McLain. He is further survived by his parents Leon and Betty McLain of Decatur, Illinois, his sister Pam Coleman of Mt. Zion, Illinois, nephew Dalton, and nieces Felicia and Jessie along with other beloved relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha from 12:00 PM until the time of the 4:00 PM funeral service. Rev. Geoff Cravillion will preside. Graveside services will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
