Turner Alexander Zettelmeier of Merrill, WI and formerly of Waukesha passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 20. He was born in Waukesha on October 20th, 1996 the son of Kenneth and Tracy (nee Hipke) Zettelmeier and the dear brother of Gage Zettelmeier. Turner was a 2015 graduate of Mukwonago High School. Turner absolutely loved snowboarding and worked full time at Granite Peak Ski Hill in Rib Mountain. He also loved Frolfing (disc golf) in Waukesha with his friends. Turner had a passion for animals, growing up with cats, dogs, and other animals his entire life. He was also preparing to offer volunteer services at the local humane society. And he had one thing on his Christmas list, a new Golden Retriever puppy.
He will be forever missed by his loving parents Kenneth and Tracy Zettelmeier of Merrill, his brother Gage Zettelmeier from Waukesha, his grandparents Ken and Pam (nee Alexander) Zettelmeier of Waukesha, uncle Christopher Zettelmeier, uncle Jon Hipke and aunt Lisa (nee Huenik) Hipke, uncle Jay Hipke, aunt Wendy (nee Hipke) Weston many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandma Bonnie (nee Schultz) Hipke, grandfather Cecil Hipke and his great-grandmother Mary (nee Castagino) Alexander and his cousin Jessica Hipke.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6th from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at Bridge Church, 1314 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. Rev. Doug Dunn of Aurora, Colorado will preside. Burial will be open to friends and family on Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Methodist Cemetery located in the town of Corning, just outside Merrill, WI.
