V. "Dode" Bloomdahl

V. Lorraine “Dode” Bloomdahl, formerly of West Chicago, died Wed., June 20, 2012 at age 90. She was born in Ellis, SD on Dec. 7, 1921 the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie (nee Unger) Trotter. On June 2, 1951 she married Edwin Bloomdahl; he preceded her in death. Dode was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in West Chicago, was an avid bowler and was bowler of the year in 1977.  Survived by her son Jeff (Mimi) Bloomdahl, two grandchildren, Matthew (Lynsey) Fanter and Zachary Bloomdahl and one great-grandchild Dakota Fanter.
