Vicki Lynn McKeever, of Waukesha, passed away unexpectantly on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her home the age of 56. She was born on February 23, 1965, in Stillwater, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Kathleen (nee Pluck) McKeever. Vicki will be remembered as a hard worker who would do anything for her family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Vicki was a huge fan of her home football team, the Minnesota Vikings.
She will be sadly missed by her children Alicia (Francisco Javier Chavez) Balboa, Vennino Vasquez, and James Vasquez. Sisters Barbara (James) McKeever-Clark and Cristin Books. Grandchildren Maseion, Payton, Dylan, Michael, Shyanne, Teresa, Kayden, Jordan, Jonah, Jada, Francisco-Jose, and Delilah. She is further survived by her best friend Dorothy May, godchildren Alonzo Escobedo and Bianca Molton, son-in-law Paul Poenitsch, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen Poenitsch.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha 53186.
The service is private.
In honor of Vicki, the family asks that visitors wear either Minnesota Vikings Football or St. Patrick’s Day attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
Per the Wisconsin mask mandate face masks/coverings are required and the funeral home will be following strict social distancing protocols.
