Virginia L. Clasen

Virginia Lois Clasen of New Berlin passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the age of 96. She was born in Wauwatosa on June 15, 1928. 

Beloved sister of Dorothy (Clasen) Thiele.

She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews whom loved her dearly, Linda (Jesse) Davis, Marla (Gerold) Gygax, Mark (Cindy) Fraker, Randy Fraker, Brenda Ribicki, Craig Fraker, Pam (Douglas) Yandry and Chad (Sara) Fraker. Rick (Irma) Thiele, Sue (Mike) Bohrer, Laura (Dan) Relyea, Joanne (Steve) Guendel, Bonnie (Kevin) Mattson, Patti (John) Sharer, Robert (Jill) Thiele. Barb (Bob) Baldwin, Bill (Betty) Luebke, Judi (Dave) Helf, James (Rose) Luebke, Joan (Larry) Neubauer, John Luebke, and Jill (Tim) Eaton. Further survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews and friends. 

Preceded in death by her parents Milton and Elsie (Klenke) Clasen, her sister Beverly (Clasen) Fraker, brothers-in-law Wayne Fraker and Kenneth Thiele, half-brother Eugene Luebke, sister-in-law Lucille Luebke and nephew Mike Thiele. 

She attended secretarial school and worked for A.O. Smith as an administrative assistant for many years. She was a member of Job’s Daughters, the Golden Rule Order of the Eastern Star, Women of the Moose, the National Association of Parliamentarians, International Toastmistress Club and the A.O. Smith Professional Club. She was an avid reader, jigsaw puzzle maker, knitter, also loved to needlepoint, do crewel and was a world traveler. 

Celebration of Virginia’s life will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 9:30am until 10:30am at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S Grand Ave., Waukesha. Funeral service at 10:30am. Private family graveside ceremony to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
