Virginia Mae (Dahlgren) Carlson of Palmyra, born on September 8, 1928, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 19, 2009. “My Rose,” beloved wife and companion of Garith Darwin Carlson of 62 years. Cherished mother of Sherry (Carlson) & Stephen Zampack, Christine (Carlson) & Bill Quade, Cynthia (Carlson) & Albert Gagliano, April (Carlson) & Scott Marshall. Loving Grandmother to Heather (Zampack) & Brad Townsend, Jason Penoske, Shanna Penoske, Jeffrey Gagliano (deceased), Cindy (Ciara) Gagliano and Gina Rose Gagliano, Joshua and Alexandra Marshall. Great-grandmother to Elizabeth Townsend. Daughter of Lillian and Ralph Dahlgren (both deceased). Beloved sister of Eugene Dahlgren, Delores (Dahlgren) & Donald McLellan (both deceased), Vicky (Dahlgren) & Warren Knippel. Sister-in-law to Rollo (deceased) & June Carlson, Betty & Joseph Mancini (both deceased), Richard and Joan Carlson, Yvonne Crimmins and David Carlson. Beloved Aunt of Shelly & David Faust, Sheila & Dwight Nelson, Sharon (Carlson) & Gary Rosenmeier, Steve & Mila Carlson, Jackie (Carlson) Neubauer, Jay Carlson, Michelle and Justin Faust. Visitation continues on Monday, November 23 at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with funeral service at 11:00 AM, Pastor Christian O’Dell presiding. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
