Virginia E. Forrest

Virginia E. Forrest, of Oconomowoc, died on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 89. She was born in Chilton, WI on January 9, 1926 the only child of Joseph and Eleanor (nee Heinze) Steffes. In January 1964 she married William Forrest in West Allis; he preceded her in death on April 15, 1985. Virginia worked in the cafeteria at Gimbels-Schuster’s during the 1950’s and 1960’s. She enjoyed playing bingo at Wilkinson Woods and also loved doing jigsaw puzzles.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Patty (Glenn) Cochrane of Oconomowoc and Virginia Ann Forrest of Milwaukee. She was the dear grandmother of Megan Elizabeth (nee Orlopp) (Ryan) Butler of Wauwatosa, Rachel Marie Orlopp of Milwaukee, Sarah Renee Orlopp of Minneapolis and William Emanuel Forrest of Waukesha. Step-grandmother to Brady (Sherry) Cochrane, Chad Cochorane, and David Cochrane. She is also survived by step-great grandchildren Rylee and Landon Cochrane, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 2:00PM until the time of the 4:00PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha. Please meet at the cemetery.
