Vivian E. Giese

Vivian E. Giese, of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 93. She was born in Sparta, WI on December 5, 1920 the daughter of Ralph and Edna (nee Smith) Willgrubs. She was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School. On May 3, 1941 she married David Giese; he preceded her in death in 1984. Vivian worked in the kitchen at Carroll College for 14 years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Susan (Henry) Berns of South Carolina and her son Michael (Ann) Giese of Waukesha. She was the proud grandmother of Lori (Randall) Morreira of Texas, Timothy Berns North Carolina, Jeffery Hine of Milwaukee, Nicole (Brandon) Schneider of Pewaukee, Melissa Giese of Florida and Nicholas (Kate) Giese of Florida and great-grandmother of Anthony and Erikka Berns, Nimh and Tony Morreira, Jacob and Korrine Giese and Leo Schneider. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband David, she was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Hine in 2010 and by her sisters Lavern Willgrubs and Maxine Kott.

Private services will be held at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
