Warren G. Brown, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Rainbow Hospice Care in Jefferson at the age of 89. He was born in Waukesha on March 3, 1923 the only child of George and Florence (nee Sheets) Brown. He proudly served in the United States Army Air Corp. He was a member of the Golden K. Kiwanis Club in Waukesha and was a member of the VFW Post #721. He was an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scout Pack #1, Boy Scout Troop #5 of Waukesha, Neekan District of the Potawatomi Area Council and earned the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver for his service. Warren was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons Waukesha Blue Lodge #37 until 2006 and was currently a member of the Glenn L. Humphrey Lodge #364 in Dousman. Warren was a longtime member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukesha where he was on the Church Council for many years and taught Sunday School. He loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Timothy (Susan) Brown of Johnson Creek and Terrence (Teresa) Brown of Wales, his grandchildren: Adrian Knowles-Brown, Seth Brown, Shane (Sadie) Brown, Skye Hall-Brown and Robby Canham-Brown and two great-grandchildren, Erin and William Brown. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Ruth Brown on January 5, 2007. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 11:00AM until the 1:00PM Masonic Service followed by the religious service all at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
