William "Bill" Evans

William H. “Bill” Evans, of Markesan, formerly of Waukesha, died on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah at the age of 73. He was born in the town of Delafield on October 11, 1937 the son of William and Eunice (nee Williams) Evans. On August 3, 1957 he married Beverly Kleist. He worked for many years as a truck driver for the Fleming Company. Bill enjoyed trucking, farming, hauling corn, and restoring his John Deere tractors. Bill also enjoyed spending time in Mesa, Arizona during the winter months. He had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 54 years, Beverly of Markesan and their children: Jackie (Phillip) Marquardt of Beaver Dam, Jill (Orin) Kowald of Cambria, Jean (Lowell) Hoffmann of Cambria, Jodi (Todd) Cigelske of Dousman, and Jennifer (Ken) Wiersma of Necedah, his 12 grandchildren: Kevin (Amber) Marquardt, Brad (Katie) Marquardt, Brian Kowald, Kaillee Kowald, Tim (Becky) Hoffmann, Jeff (Kelly) Hoffmann, Doyle (special friend Tonya) Hoffmann, Tracey (Mark) Hoffmann, Tierney (special friend Jordan) Cigelske, Chad Cigelske, Marc (Candice) Wiersma, and Kimberly (Mark) Gessner, his 15 great-grandchildren: Kylie, Carter, Kaden, Josilyn, Ryan, Gillyan, Rylee, Evan, Cohen, Blake, Austin, Katelyn, Weston, Preston, and Clayton. He is further survived by his sister Donna (Dean) Mickle of Wales, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 9:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Main Street, Wales, WI.
