William “Bill” K. Kremel of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Friday, December 21, 2018 at LindenGrove surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 85. He was born in Milwaukee on September 8, 1933 the son of Karl and Emily (nee Schnabl) Kremel. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a true patriot throughout his life. On June 16, 1956 he married his beloved wife, Anna (Wegerbauer) Kremel and together they have been longtime members of St. William Catholic Church. Bill enjoyed playing cribbage and sheepshead and was an avid reader. He was most passionate about his family and he especially loved his grandchildren. Bill will always be remembered for being loyal, strong and a dedicated family man.
He is loved and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 62 years Anna and their children, Kathy (Bob) Wegner of Boulder, CO, Jim (Susan) Kremel of Brookfield, Rick (Susan) Kremel of Waukesha, Ken (Karen) Kremel of Waukesha and Marie (Tim) Reilly of Germantown. He was the proud grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Bill is further survived by his brother Al (Penny) Kremel of Brookfield along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter Christina Kremel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. followed by the 12:00 noon funeral Mass all to be held at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Father Jorge Perez will preside. Full military honors will follow the Mass at church. Memorials in Bill’s name are appreciated to the charity of the donor’s choice.
