William “Billy” J. Giencke, of Sullivan, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital at the age of 55. He was born in Waukesha County on November 14, 1960 the son of William and Shirley (nee Schwantes) Giencke. He was a 1979 graduate of Hamilton High School. On July 9, 2002 he married Ann Marie Liesenfelder. Billy was an avid fisherman, was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR and loved cooking, especially lasagna. He loved to talk and loved his family dearly.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Ann Marie of Sullivan and their daughter Ashley (age 13) and his brothers and sisters, Gary (Jan) Giencke of Bay View, Jon (Nancy Czaplinski) Giencke of Hartford, Sandy Cameron of Menomonee Falls and Pam Katrichis of Milwaukee. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Audrey Liesenfelder of Waukesha along with his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, his fishing buddies and best buds. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law George Liesenfelder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are greatly appreciated to the family to be used for his daughter Ashley’s education.
