Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home was founded by J.K. Randle who purchased Knapp Brothers Furniture Store and funeral home. His son Harrie joined the firm in 1900 beginning a tradition of serving families in the funeral home or in their churches. In 1939 founder J.K. Randle’s grandson, John joined the firm and then in 1946 after returning from Guam and WWII William S. joined the firm. In 1972 Martin Dable became a partner and the funeral home became Randle-Dable Funeral Home.
In 1988 Lee Brisk and Cathleen Brueckner were hired as funeral directors. Over the next several years they assumed many of the management responsibilities in the business and then were married. In accordance with Martin Dable’s strong desire to keep the funeral home INDEPENDENT and LOCALLY OWNED he selected the couple as his successor. Lee and Cathleen share Martin Dable’s pride of independence and his commitment to Waukesha families. Martin sadly passed away in 2019. Lifelong Waukesha area resident Thomas Ribbens joined the funeral home in 2007 and is currently in transition to purchase the funeral home to keep it locally
owned and operated.
